Salima Technical College is one of the four wholly Government owned public technical college along with Lilongwe, Soche and Nasawa. The other three public Technical Colleges namely Mzuzu, Namitete and Livingstonia are Church owned and Grant Aided.
Salima Technical College is conveniently situated along the shores of the famous Lake Malawi at Senga Bay in Salima District about 140 Km east of the Capital City Lilongwe. It provides a very conducive environment for training where students can relax in the fresh waters of the lake after a hard working day in class and workshops. The workshops are adequately equipped far above the minimum requirements for a particular course and has very highly qualified teaching and support personnel.
