Southern Africa Nazarene University Admission Requirements

  1. Christian Workers Certificate

Admission Requirements
SiSwati Stream
A mature Christian of at least 18 years of age. She or he must also be serving diligently in a local church.
English Stream
A mature Christian of at least 18 years of age. She or he must also be serving diligently in a local church. A minimum of a Junior Certificate in Secondary Education is also required or a demonstrable potential write and communicate in English.

  1. Primary Teacher’s Diploma

Admission Requirements
A minimum of six  (6) passes at O’ level or equivalent, including English Language, four (4) of which must be credits in subjects taught in Primary Schools which are; Mathematics, SiSwati, History, geography, Physics, Chemistry, Physical Science, Combined Science, Integrated Science, Biology, human & Social Biology, Home Economics, Food & Nutrition, Fashion & Fabric, Agriculture, Religious Knowledge and English Literature. Other subjects will not be recognized.
Holders of a Primary Teachers’ Certificate or equivalent qualification may be eligible to apply for the PTD. These students will enter at year 2 of the Diploma Programme.

  1. Diploma in Theology

Admission Requirements
An applicant must have O’ Level Certificate or Equivalent High School Certificate with at least three credits and a pass. The applicant must be at least eighteen (18) years with two or more years of active involvement in a local church.

  1. Post Diploma Certificate in Nursing Midwifery Science

Admission Requirements
A Bachelor of Science in General Nursing, a Diploma in General Nursing Science or and equivalent qualification plus registration with Swaziland Nursing Council are requirements for entrance to the Post Diploma Certificate in Midwifery Nursing Science.

  1. Diploma in Pharmacy

Admission Requirements
A minimum of six (5) credit passes, including English, Mathematics, two Sciences (Biology & Physical Science/Physics & Chemistry subjects) plus any other two subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings, in either 0 level, I.G.C.S.E., S.G.C.S.E., H.I.G.C.S.E and A level. Mature age students are also admitted depending on their results of mature age examination results. Mature students are also admissible subject to review of their “prior learning” by the Admissions Committee.

  1. Diploma in Theology

Admission Requirements

  1. Bachelor of Education in Special & Inclusive Education

Admission Requirements
The applicant must be a holder of a Diploma or Degree in Education and a practicing teacher.

  1. Bachelor of Education in Leadership & Management of Inclusive Education

Admission Requirements  
The applicant must be a holder of a Diploma or a Bachelor in Education, general. This course is highly relevant to those who are or are interested or close to supervisory or management roles in school environment.

  1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing & Midwifery

Admission Requirements
A diploma in general nursing or a Post Graduate Certificate in Midwifery Nursing Sciences or an equivalent nursing qualification from an accredited and recognized institution of higher learning. Also required is a minimum of two years working experience. Last, students should bring; official transcript from previous institution attended, personal statement of intent with clear justification and two references in a letter format addressing academic and clinical potential. 

  1. Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences 

Admission Requirements 
A minimum of six (6) credit passes, including English, Mathematics, two Sciences (Biology & Physical Science/Physics & Chemistry subjects) plus any other two subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings, in either 0 level, I.G.C.S.E., S.G.C.S.E., H.I.G.C.S.E and A level.   1. Bachelor of Science in Nurse Anaesthesia 

Admission Requirements
