St Joseph’s College of Nursing Malawi Admission

The management of St Joseph’s College of Nursing Malawi wishes to inform of prospective Applicants (as specified above) and the general public that application for Diploma for the Academic Year are now on sale.

St. Joseph College of Nursing and Midwifery invites applications from interested candidates to enroll in self-sponsored training in the following programs:

1. Nursing and Midwifery Technician (NMT) Training Commencing in July,

Admission Requirements:

  • Applicants must be between 16 and 40 years of age
  • Applicants must have a Malawi Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with six (6) credits that should include English and three (3) science subjects i.e. Physical Science or (Physics and Chemistry), Biology and any other science subject like Mathematics, Agriculture, Geography and Home Economics, plus any two (2) other subjects obtained in not more than two (2) sittings. If Mathematics is not a credit, then it should be a strong pass of 7 points.

Cost of training – MK1,200,000.00 (Tuition, boarding and lodging)

Duration: 3 years

2. Pharmacy Assistant Training Commencing May,

Admission Requirements:

  • Applicants must be between 16 and 40 years of age
  • Applicants must have a Malawi Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with three (3) credits that should include English and two (2) science subjects from any of the following: Physical Science or (Physics and Chemistry), Biology, Mathematics and Agriculture obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.

Cost of training – MK1,300,000.00 (Tuition, boarding and lodging)

Duration: 2 years

Note: There are not scholarships for the training.
