A. UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES: Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for admission into various undergraduate programmes for the January-intake of the 2021 Academic Year. Minimum entry requirements for specific programmes are outlined below;
Only students who have paid the required fees and fulfilled registration requirements will be given authority to attend classes and access other services.
Approval of Applications
The Admissions Committee considers for approval applicants whose files are complete. The following items are required:

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
∙Application forms can be obtained from the University Registrar’s in Mzuzu, Laws Campus at Livingstonia, Ekwendeni Campus, NICE district Offices, Chichiri Secondary School in Blantyre, Lilongwe Congregation of CCAP Synod of Livingstonia (AREA 47) and Emmanuel Teacher’s College in Lilongwe and Zomba Theological College in Zomba.
∙Completed applications should be sent by post, or delivered by hand in the University Registrar’s Office in Mzuzu.
∙Students who were admitted in the September 2018 intake and failed to report but made reservations for their places in writing should not reapply. However, they should confirm in writing their readiness to be admitted.
Such students do not need to pay an application fee. Only fresh applicants will be required to pay the application fee.
∙Applicants should attach to completed forms; copies of certificates, notification of results slips or transcripts and an application letter.
∙Applicants may visit our website: www.unilia.ac.mw to download the January 2021 Advert and application form.
∙Completed application forms should be returned with a non-refundable admission application fee of MK7, 000 (undergraduate programmes) and MK 10,000 (Postgraduate Programmes) for Malawian applicants and US$50 for international applicants and a copy of the MSCE Certificate or its equivalent. The University of Livingstonia advice applicants before applying for admission, have least A Malawi School Certificate of Education or any equivalent O-Level qualification with at least 4 subjects passed with credit (6 subjects for some programmes) including ENGLISH LANGUAGE and other subjects specified in the table under point (d) below before it can gain admission in the institution.
