There is also a The Community Hospital Dr Y. Cantin of Black River There are 20 Community Health Centres and 5 Area Health Centres within its catchments area.Historical background Initially a barrack, this institution was converted in July 1922 in a 400-bed hospital.The PMOC was annexed in 1956.
