What is Napsa?

NAPSA is the official custodian and manager of the assets of the ZNPF. This means that NAPSA is managing all the funds contributed to the

ZNPF has continued paying benefits to eligible members of that scheme as they qualify for the same.

How is NAPSA calculated?

NAPSA law provides for a minimum pension. This is the lowest monthly retirement or invalidity pension payable in a given year and is computed as follows: 

20% of the National Average Earnings (NAE) applicable in the year of retirement or invalidity, as obtained from the Central Statistical Office.

What benefits do NAPSA contributions pay in Zambia?

Retirement Pension; monthly income paid to a member who reaches the retirement age of 55/60 years and has made at least 180 months’ contributions.

Invalidity Pension paid to a member who gets incapacitated and unable to engage in gainful employment due to sickness or injury.
