MEC Chairperson Maxon Mbendera dead

MEC Chairperson Maxon Mbendera dead Chairperson for the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Justice Maxon Mbendera, who is also Supreme Court Judge, has died.   Judiciary spokesperson Mlenga Mvula has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press. According to information souced by this publication, Mbendera collapsed in a meeting in Lilongwe. More details to follow
