Christian Health Association of Malawi CHAM Scholarship programmes

CHAM offers need-based and merit-based scholarship programs at all of its training colleges, for all clinical degrees. A vast majority of CHAM training college students are on full or partial scholarship.
Our scholarship programs make it possible for CHAM students to afford a quality education, and allow CHAM training colleges to further our mission of ending the human resources for health crisis in Malawi. As of December 2015, CHAM’s scholarship programs had made it possible for our training colleges to increase their graduation rates to over 1,000 students per year.
The success of CHAM’s scholarship programs is made possible through the generosity and collaboration of individual donors, as well as numerous development and implementing partners:

Notably, as part of the CHAM-CDC HIV/AIDS Project, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has sponsored a record number of CHAM trainees. As of December 2015, over 615 trainees had graduated from CHAM colleges due to the support of the CDC.
