LUANAR OPEN & DISTANCE LEARNING (ODL) YEAR 1 AND MATURE ENTRY SELECTION FOR 2018-ODL-1
The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) has released names of successful candidates to pursue degree programmes offered through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) for both year 1 and mature (year 2) entry.
The opening date for the semester is 19th February 2018. Students are expected to attend a two-week orientation session that will take place at Bunda Campus. Students are expected to find their own accommodation from private providers around campus at a fee over the two-week period. Note that students will come to the campus only the first 2 weeks, then 1 week in the middle of the semester and the last 2 weeks of the semester.
Students are advised to source their own transport to the orientation venue and back. They will also fend for their own food.
Tuition Fees is at MK 300,000.00 per year or MK 150,000.00 per semester, which must be paid through the following National Bank Account: LUANAR ODL FEES, 1002868683, Lilongwe Gateway Service Center. Students will only register when they pay the fees in full or at least 50% of the semester fees (MK75,000.00). Bring bank deposit slips for registration. (Please indicate student name on the deposit slip).
In addition to the Tuition Fees, students are expected to deposit MK30,000.00 as contribution towards printing of branded study materials (Modules). Please deposit it separately from the tuition fees. Only those who will have paid the amount shall have access to the printed study materials.
