LUANAR Call For Application: Innovation In Teaching And Learning Workshop 2018

The Association of African Universities in collaboration with the Africa Centre of Excellence in Aquaculture and Fisheries Science (AquaFish –ACE) is pleased to invite Professors, Deans, Lecturers, Heads of Department, Academic Faculty, Teachers/Facilitators, and Faculty Trainers from Higher Educational Institutions across Africa to a workshop on Innovations in Teaching and Learning which will be held at the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources – Bunda Campus.
The objectives of the workshop are to:
i. Discussing key concepts and case studies on innovative teaching and learning methods
ii. Deliberate on challenges and opportunities associated with supervising graduate students
iii. Explore the use of technology to improve teaching delivery methods in African Universities
The workshop will be facilitated by Dr Josephine Larbi-Apau who is a Senior Lecturer and Consultant in Education and Instruction Technology and Ms Nodumo Dhlamini who is a Director of ICT Services, Corporate Communications and Knowledge Management.
The fees for the workshop are:
US $500 for AAU Member Universities
US $600 for Non-Member Universities
US $250 for Malawians
The cost covers tuition fees, lunch, tea, water, certificates and training materials.
