Mzuzu University is pleased to announce names of candidates who have been selected to pursue Diploma in Information and Communication Technology Weekend programme for the 2018/2019 Academic Year in the Faculty of Science, Technology and Innovation.
Friday to Sunday every other week (fortnightly)
Friday 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm = 5 hours
Saturday 7:00 am – 12:00 pm = 5 hours 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm = 5 hours
Sunday 7:00 am – 12:00 pm = 5 hours
Opening Date
The successful candidates are required to report for registration and orientation which will be conducted during the week from 29th to 30th October 2018. You will be required to attend this orientation.
Registration will be conducted from Monday, 29th October 2018 to Friday 2nd November, 2018 using the University’s ONLINE registration process.
Classes will begin on Friday, 2nd November, 2018.
Fees
• K400,000 per academic year. The fees are subject to revision as may be determined by Council from time to time, with or without notice. The fees are not refundable once paid.
Payment of Fees
Candidates are informed that they should pay at least half of the required fees per academic year for them to be registered.

Candidates will be required to present bank deposit slips and a Transaction Reference copy to the University Cashier to register online. The candidate’s name and registration number should be written on the deposit slip when making transactions. Please note that registration numbers are indicated on the first page of the candidate’s admission letter.
Board and Lodge
All candidates have been admitted under off-campus category. Therefore, they are required to make their own arrangements for accommodation, transport, meals and general upkeep during their stay at the campus.
Original Certificates and Passport-size Photographs
All candidates are required to bring original copies of their academic certificates and two
passport size photographs for registration.
Admission Letters
The University is processing admission letters for each of the selected candidates, stating the
terms and conditions of admission. Also enclosed in a letter of admission will be a package
containing an acceptance letter and a medical form that should be completed with a medical
practitioner.
