Chancellor College is inviting applications for a 5 months internship for Nurses to assist in the containment of Covid-19 pandemic at Chancellor College Clinic.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and at least a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from a college/university registered with National Council for Higher Education. Those with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Midwifery will have an added advantage.
Duties
Collecting Covid-19 data;
Building productive relationship with other hospital personnel on covid-19 case referrals;
Perform patient examinations and answer all patient queries promptly on Covid-19 screening tablets
Providing direct patient care and managing the outpatients and follow up care;
Maintaining medical ethics in totality
Establishing trust relationship with the patient ensuring that all questions are answered thoroughly with confidentiality;
Maintaining high standard of nursing care to all clients
Evaluating patient conditions through physical and laboratory test results.
