UNESCO is inviting nominations for the UNESCO – Japan on Education for
Sustainable Development 2021.
- Within the framework of the Global Action Programme (GAP) on ESD, the
UNESCO-Japan Prize on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) honours individuals, institutions, organizations or other entities for outstanding projects or programmes in the field of ESD. - Prize
Funded by the Government of Japan, the Prize consists of 3 (three) annual awards of US $50,000 for each recipient. - Deadline
The deadline for submission of Nomination Form and all supporting materials to the Mauritius National Commission for UNESCO is 16 April 2021. - For additional information regarding the prize, procedure for application to the UNESCO and Nomination Form, interested applicants are invited to visit the Ministry’s Web link at:
