UNESCO Japan Prize on Education for Sustainable Development 2021

UNESCO is inviting nominations for the UNESCO – Japan on Education for
Sustainable Development 2021.

  1. Within the framework of the Global Action Programme (GAP) on ESD, the
    UNESCO-Japan Prize on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) honours individuals, institutions, organizations or other entities for outstanding projects or programmes in the field of ESD.
  2. Prize
    Funded by the Government of Japan, the Prize consists of 3 (three) annual awards of US $50,000 for each recipient.
  3. Deadline
    The deadline for submission of Nomination Form and all supporting materials to the Mauritius National Commission for UNESCO is 16 April 2021.
  4. For additional information regarding the prize, procedure for application to the UNESCO and Nomination Form, interested applicants are invited to visit the Ministry’s Web link at:

  5. The final selection will rest with UNESCO.
