BOTHO UNIVERSITY ADMISSION GUIDELINES AND FORMS
Application to BU is basically online or done online depending on your preference. Kindly follow the steps stated below to apply.
BU Online Application Procedure
- An application can also be made online by visiting the Botho University Online Application portal through the link as stated below in order to track the application anywhere and anytime.
- Simply upload all of the necessary documentation so that it can be processed by our administrative department.
- Your application will be completed once all of the necessary fees have been paid.
UPLOAD SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION
Everyone applying for a new qualification must submit the required documents (all first-time applicants and BU students starting a new qualification). The due date for uploading the required documents is the closing date for applications. No documents submitted after the closing date for applications will be accepted.
BU does not provide scanners or electronic devices. Please ensure that your documents are scanned and uploaded to an electronic device before starting the application process.
BOTHO UNIVERSITY APPLICATION FEE
This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through BU, do not qualify for admission to BU or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available. BU does not accept cash at any of its offices.
The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment.
Make sure that your application is complete
If your application for admission to study through BU is incomplete, you will have to re-apply during the next application period.

Depending on the programme of study, applicants will have to meet the admission criteria as specified in this prospectus and any prerequisites required for specific programmes. In case the applicant’s country qualifications framework is not catered for in the admissions criteria, please contact the Admissions Department for assistance.
