Open University of Mauritius July-August Examination

By | September 1, 2021

The Open University of Mauritius (OU) has taken note of the recent requests made by a number of learners for not being able to attend examinations in July/August 2021 due to COVID-19 regulations and sanitary protocols.

Given the unpredictability of the pandemic crisis, the Open University of Mauritius wishes to inform its learners in Mauritius and Rodrigues that examinations will exceptionally be held online this semester. Learners are hereby informed not to report to OUCC for their examinations.

However, learners who are registered on programmes involving practical/lab-based examinations will have to report to their respective examination centres.
Learners from abroad will have to sit for their examinations in their respective examination centres.

OU understands the current professional commitments of its learners. As such, the dates as per the examination final timetable are maintained, except for examinations scheduled on Monday 06 September 2021 which will be preponed and communicated to you later.

Learners who have deferred their examinations for next semester are requested to contact their Programme Managers in case they wish to sit for exams this semester

Details on the modalities with regards to remote examinations will follow in due course (by early next week). In the meantime, you are advised to create a Gmail address using your forename and surname (not fake name) and also to include your learner ID number, e.g paulsimon21062518@gmail.com. This will ease access to the Google Classroom platform.
We thank you for your understanding.
