Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE)
The Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE) allows applicants with other local qualifications to apply for admission to our full-time diploma courses.
Admission is based on academic merit and subject to available vacancies of the diploma courses.

Important Information
- If you or any member of your household has been placed on Stay-Home-Notice (SHN), Quarantine Order (QO), or if you are presently serving Leave of Absence (LOA), please do not come to campus and stay at home. Inform your programme chair as soon as possible and see a doctor. Do not clinic hop.
- If you or any member of your household above 18 years old are feeling unwell or have been directed to undergo a swab test, please do not come to campus and stay at home.
- Before coming to RP campus each day, check the venue for your class by logging on to LEO 2.0 or check out the Student’s Portal under Academic Matters > Schedule.
- Turn on the Trace Together app on your mobile device, or have the Trace Together token with you before you enter RP. Always keep the app switched on while on campus.
- Wear a mask properly and adhere to safe management measures at all times.
- Remember to declare your temperature daily on LEO 2.0.
Who can apply?
You must have completed Integrated Programme (IP) Year 4 (or secondary 4 equivalent) in Singapore.
Entry Requirements
You are required to obtain a grade of 1 to 6 for the following:
- English
- Mathematics (Elementary/Additional)
- One relevant subject
If you did not meet the above requirements, you may be invited for an assessment to assess your aptitude and your suitability for the course.

When and How to apply?
- The DAE application schedule is as follows:
- Application is made online through the DAE Application Portal. Please refer to our User Guide on how to apply.
- You may indicate up to 3 course choices in your application
- Please consider your choices very carefully, and check that all your information entered are accurate before submitting the application, as you will not be able to make any amendments upon submission.

- The outcome of your DAE application will be sent to your email account (indicated in your DAE application) on the following date:
Enrolment
If your application is successful, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the online enrolment within 3-4 weeks.
