Admission Requirements
- 3.0 GPA in 13 core units:
- English – 4
- Math – 3
- Social Science – 3
- Natural Science – 3
OR
- 1120 SAT* (EBRW and math)
- *1040 SAT for exams taken prior to March 2016
OR
- 22 ACT (composite score)
OR
- Nevada Advanced High School Diploma

Application Fee
You will be required to pay the nonrefundable $60 application fee by credit or debit card.

After Applying
Submit your Official Transcripts and Test Scores
- High School Transcript – If you did not self-report your high school classes and grades in the UNLV application, you must submit your official high school transcript.
- ACT or SAT Scores – Test scores are not required for admission but are encouraged for UNLV course placement. Request to have your scores sent to UNLV from ACT or College Board when you register for the test.
Check your Application Status
After submitting your application, you will receive two emails, one with your MyUNLV NSHE ID number and another with your temporary password. Check your MyUNLV account regularly.Check Application Status
Apply for Financial Aid & Scholarships
- FAFSA — Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using our school code 002569 to receive consideration for both need-based aid and merit scholarships.
- Alternate Need Form — Non-FAFSA eligible students can complete the Alternative Need Determination Form to apply for both institutional need-based grants and scholarships.

Priority Deadline
Full and equal consideration for financial aid and scholarships is based upon being admitted to UNLV and completing the FAFSA or Alternate Need Form by the November 15 priority deadline. You can apply as early as October 1 for the following academic year.View Financial Deadlines
Materials Submission
