Note:

  • Chatsworth International School does not charge re-enrolment fees.
  • Fees are payable in advance of admission to the school and subsequently in advance of each semester. There are two semesters in each academic school year.
  • Where a student withdraws part-way through a semester, there will be no refund or part payment of fees allowed.
  • If your child is identified as requiring English as an Additional Language (EAL) or Learning Support(LS), an additional EAL or LS Fee is payable in addition to the regular school fees. This fee will go towards providing additional support from our fully qualified, full time EAL teacher or LS Coordinator. Refer to the miscellaneous fee schedule below.
  • All Secondary students in Years 7-13 require an Apple MacBook as part of our 1:1 laptop programme. 
  • The course fee stated includes the Fee Protection Scheme, as mandated by the Committee for Private Education.

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of $260 is payable at application submission. The application will only be considered after the application fee is paid.

Confirmation Fee

For new enrolment, on offer of a place, a confirmation fee (one-time payment for new students) of $2,600 is payable. The confirmation fee is a non-refundable administrative fee, and the full amount applies regardless of enrolment date.

Development Fee

A levy of $2,263.85 per year or $1,131.93 per semester on development applies to our students. This pays for the general and ongoing maintenance and improvement of our campus and facilities.

Sibling Discount

Families with two children concurrently enrolled in Chatsworth will enjoy a 25% discount on school fees for their third child (and any additional children thereafter). Applicable only for non-company sponsored education.

Miscellaneous Fees

The miscellaneous fee schedule including our English as an Additional Language and Learning Support, refers to items and fees students shall pay when and where applicable. The list of items as set out does not purport to be comprehensive or exhaustive.

Payment of Fees

All payments must be made in Singapore Dollars (SGD) in the form of cash, cheque/cashier’s order, bank transfer, telegraphic transfer or PayPal.

Cash

Cash payments can be made in person at the Reception during office hours.

Cheque/ Cashier’s Order

Cheques must be made payable to “Chatsworth International School Pte Ltd” and delivered in person or mailed to 72 Bukit Tinggi Road Singapore 289760. Please indicate the child’s full name and invoice number on the back of the cheque.

Fee Protection Scheme

Under the Private Education Act, all course fees are required to be insured. For more information on the Private Education Act or the Committee for Private Education (CPE), please visit the SSG website.

The Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) aims to protect the students’ course fees in the event that a Private Education Institution (PEI) is unable to continue operations due to insolvency or regulatory closure.

Chatsworth International School has appointed Lonpac Insurance Berhad to be the FPS provider for our students. On payment of the insurance premium, students will be issued with a Certificate of Insurance from Lonpac Insurance Berhad. The certificate will be sent directly to the student via email.

Medical Insurance Scheme

As a requirement for the EduTrust Certification, Chatsworth International School has purchased medical insurance for all its students. The MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Ltd has been appointed as the provider for the school’s insurance scheme

Refund Policy

The Private Education Institute (PEI) refund policy is stated below.

1. Refund for Withdrawal Due to Non-Delivery of Course

1.1  The school will notify the student within three (3) working days of confirmation of any of the following:

1.1.1 It will not commence the Course on the Course Commencement Date;

1.1.2 It will terminate the Course, before the Course Commencement Date;

1.1.3 It will not complete the Course by the Course Completion Date;

1.1.4 It will terminate the Course, before the Course Completion Date;

1.1.5 It has not ensured that the student meets the course entry or matriculation requirement as set by the school stated in Schedule A of the student contract and within any stipulated timeline set by CPE; or

1.1.6 The Student Pass application is rejected by Immigration and Checkpoint Authority (ICA). The student should be informed in writing of alternative study arrangements (if any), and also be entitled to a refund of the entire Course fees and Miscellaneous fees already paid should the student decide to withdraw, within seven (7) working days of the above notice.

1.2  If the student withdraws from the Course for any reason other than those stated in Clause 1.1, the Accounts Department will, within seven (7) working days of receiving the student’s written notice of withdrawal, refund to the student an amount based on the Refund Table in Clause 3.

2. Refund During Cooling-Off Period

The school will provide the student with a cooling-off period of seven (7) working days after the date that the contract has been signed by both parties.  The student will be refunded the highest percentage stated in the Refund Table of the fees already paid if the student submits a written notice of withdrawal to the school within the cooling-off period, regardless of whether the student has started the course or not.
