Study in Holland Orange Knowledge Programme 2022/23: The Government of Netherlands Orange Knowledge Programme application round for study in Holland begins soon. Those wishing to pursue a short course or masters studies in the Netherlands have the opportunity of getting full funding through the Orange Knowledge Programme.

The Orange Knowledge Programme aims to contribute to a society’s sustainable and inclusive development. Its scholarships are open to mid-career professionals in specific countries.

Orange Knowledge Programme 2022 | Eligibility Criteria

The Orange Knowledge Programme individual scholarships are open to mid-career professionals, who are nationals of – and living and working in – the eligible countries (below):

Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Colombia, Congo (DRC), Cuba, Egypt, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Thailand, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Selection Criteria

The procedure is as follows:

  1. Candidates register with their Dutch education institution
  2. Dutch institution nominates candidates and submits grant application
  3. Embassies check eligibility and assess applications
  4. Selection results published
  5. Grants awarded

How-to-Apply: To apply for the Orange Knowledge Programme 2022, you need to first select a course and then contact the education institution of your course and ask how to apply for the scholarship.

Application Deadlines:

The Orange Knowledge Programme is in three application rounds:

  • Round 1: for master’s and short courses. Accepting applications between 2 February – 22 March 16.00 CET.
  • Round 2: Accepting applications between 11 May – 28 June 16.00 CET.
  • Round 3: Accepting applications between 31 August – 11 October 16.00 CET.
