Programmes Entry Requirements

Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree

(LLB)

Programme (5 Years Conventional)

Normal Entry (a) At least five (5) ‘O’ level passes including English Language at Grade B or better. (b) Three (3) good ‘A’ level passes. Special Entry (a) Candidates who possess relevant qualifications in the legal field or qualifications with substantial legal content at Diploma level will also be considered or (b) A good first degree in another discipline. Notes (a) Applicants for normal entry must attach a confidential letter of recommendation from the last high school attended. (b) Applicants in the special entry category must attach a confidential letter of recommendation from their Head of Organisation. (c) All applicants must also obtain and attach Police clearance. (d) Shortlisted applicants will be subjected to interviews before admission into the programme.

(b) A minimum of 2 ‘A’ passes in Mathematics or Computer Science and any other relevant Science or Commercial subject or relevant National Certificate. Special Entry In approved cases, holders of an appropriate Diploma/Higher National Diploma may qualify for entry into the programmes. Normal Entry (a) Five (5) ‘O’ level passes or equivalent including English Language at grade C or better. (b) 2 ‘A’ level passes including at least one commercial subject.
