The Tomorrow’s Leaders Undergraduate Program (TLU) supports students in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by providing undergraduate-level academic matriculation, civic education, and leadership development. TLU is a leadership-training program, partnering with leading U.S.-accredited universities in the MENA region to build a cadre of community, business, and national leaders who are civic-minded, intellectually able, and professionally skilled.

The scholarship program aims to serve students from socioeconomically underserved backgrounds who demonstrate strong leadership potential but lack the means to obtain an American-style education.

MEPI Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship 2023 | Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the MEPI Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship 2023, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Undergraduate applicants must be current high school senior or 2021-2022 graduate.
  • Undergraduate applicants who are current high school seniors must maintain their high academic achievement and pass their leaving exam.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English. Minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80 (received within two years of application date).
  • Graduate applicants must provide evidence of academic English proficiency as required by the relevant graduate program.
  • Graduate applicants must commit to completing their master’s degree within two academic years
  • Demonstrate financial need. Applicants should be underrepresented or economically deserving students and provide supporting financial documentation.
  • Ability to travel and start their undergraduate program in August/September of 2023.
  • Demonstrate strong academic credentials.
  • Maturity, adaptability, and leadership potential. Graduate Program Evidence of academic English proficiency as required by the relevant graduate program. Commit to completing their master’s degree within two academic years. Demonstrate financial need. Applicants should be underrepresented or economically deserving students and provide supporting financial documentation. Ability to travel and start their undergraduate program in August/September of 2023. Strong academic credentials. Maturity, adaptability, and leadership potential.
