The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following post:
FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE:
Post No. 3685: Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
�?MSc. in Agricultural Extension with not less than five years teaching experience in Agricultural Economics courses.
�?Extensive record in research and publishing in Agricultural Economics and other Economics related fields.
�?Background in Research Methods.
�?Experience in teaching at undergraduate.
�?Management and leadership experience at the institution of higher learning will be preferred.
Duties:
In addition to developing and teaching various courses in Agricultural Extension, the candidate will be expected to further development of the department and the faculty of Agriculture as a whole.
The candidate will be expected to carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Head of the Department and the Dean of the Faculty.
Remuneration:
The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Employment type:
Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for Locals and Contract for Non – Locals.
