Blantyre United still lead Malawi’s second tier Southern Football League after drawing 1-1 with second-placed Mitra lcons at Chiwembe on Saturday as the two fight to qualify for the top flight TNM Super League.
Blantyre United lead with 39 points, just one ahead of Mitra Icons. However, Blantyre United have finished the first round games while Mitra still have two more games to play.

“We have two more games to play to complete the first round and we will make sure we take over the leadership of the log table ready to continue for the title campaign in the second round,” he said.
