2015/16 examination results and opening of the college for the 2016/17 academic year
Management of College of Medicine would like to inform its continuing students that SENATE approved end of year results for the 2015/16 academic year on 27th June 2016. Students who have cleared their college debts can access results through their Students’ Academic and Registration Information System (SARIS) account. The College will also send results to their respective postal addresses.
SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATIONS
Supplementary Examinations shall be administered from 1-3 August 2016 Supplementary examination time table has been released and sent to all students. It is also available on SARIS
OPENING DATES
Opening dates for 2016/17 Academic Year are as follows
- FIRST YEAR STUDENTS
Monday 8th August 2016. Students who have been offered accommodation are expected to arrive on campus on Sunday 7th August 2016. Information about students that have been offered accommodation is available on this page. The week beginning 8th to 12th August is for orientation and it is a must that you attend the orientation.
- CONTINUING STUDENTS
The opening date for continuing students is 15th August 2016. Students who have been offered accommodation are expected to arrive on campus on Sunday 14th August 2016. Classes begin on Monday 15th August, 2016. Please ensure that you would have done the registration before Monday 15th August 2016.
All continuing students may registering through SARIS from Monday, 1st August 2016
Accommodation shall only be accessed after paying the required rentals in full. Offer letters for the same shall be collected from the DEAN OF STUDENT office from 1st August 2016.
REGISTRATION
Registration period remains two weeks from the opening date. Students are reminded that rules and regulations pertaining to registration process shall apply and therefore should be strictly adhered to.
FEES
Financial contribution for the academic year is as follows:
1st Year – Foundation – K600,000 per academic year
Continuing Generic Students – K400, 000 per academic year
Mature Students – K1, 400,000 per academic year
The fees are payable in full or half for each semester at the beginning of the semester. Please be reminded that no fees no registration.
