Canon Collins Trust Scholarship Programme – The Trust runs ten postgraduate scholarship programmes for study in the UK, Ireland, South Africa and Malawi. Over 100 scholars are currently pursuing postgraduate studies at more than a dozen universities with our support. For more information Click Here
Chevening Scholarships for International Students – Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK (Malawi included). Commonwealth Bursaries – UK Department for International Development (DFID) offers Commonwealth Scholarships for developing countries’ students to pursue Master’s, PhD and split-site (PhD) degree program at UK Universities. Approximately 300 scholarships are awarded each year. Commonwealth Scholarships for Master’s and PhD study in the UK are offered for citizens of developing countries (including Malawi). These scholarships are funded by the UK, Department of International Development (DFID). For more information Click Here.
Gates Cambridge Scholarships for International Students – Gates Cambridge Scholarships are highly competitive full-cost scholarships. They are awarded to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK (including Malawi) to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.  For more information Click Here.
Georg Forster Research Award  – The Georg Forster Research Award is granted in recognition of a researcher’s entire achievements to date to academics of all disciplines whose fundamental discoveries, new theories, or insights have had a significant impact on their own discipline and beyond and who are expected to continue developing research-based solutions to the specific challenges facing transition and developing countries (including Malawi). Rhodes Trust Scholarships – The Rhodes Scholarships are postgraduate awards supporting outstanding all-round students at the University of Oxford, and providing transformative opportunities for exceptional individuals.  The Rhodes Trust provides the Rhodes Scholarships in partnership with Second Century Founder, John McCall MacBain and other generous benefactors.  A class of 95 Scholars is selected each year from selected countries including Malawi. Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Scholarship Program – For female students from developing countries who are preparing for a PhD degree or post-doctoral research in the physical sciences, engineering, technology and related disciplines.  It is now open for applications for 2017-2018 Academic Year. For more information Click Here.
University of Cambridge Scholarship for students from African countries (post-graduate students) – New scholarships are now available for students from African countries (including Malawi) undertaking either a one-year MPhil in International Relations and Politics, or a three-year PhD in a field related to governance and human rights.
