About the Organization

Forum for African Women Educationalists Zimbabwe Chapter (FAWEZI) is a Non-Governmental Organization established in 1998 and registered as a PVO in 1999. It is an affiliate of the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE), a Pan-African Non-Governmental Organization based in Nairobi Kenya.
FAWEZI works with communities, schools, civil society, NGOs and ministries to achieve gender equity and equality in education through targeted programs. Our work influences government policy, builds public awareness, demonstrates best educational practice through effective models, and encourages the adoption of these models by governments and institutions of education

Summary of duties and responsibilities
The intern will coordinate implementation of the KL University Scholarships and support student enrolment, review online scholarship applications to ensure they are in conformity with FAWEZI/KL University guidelines, ensure that files and records of students are properly maintained, create and strengthen linkages between FAWEZI and other FAWE Chapters, write timely technical reports on the KL University Scholarship, support FAWEZI resource mobilization efforts and perform any other duties as may assigned by FAWEZI management.

Minimum qualification and experience
The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences or Marketing; proven experience in headlining scholarship packages, have not less than 2 years’ experience working in related field.

NB: The candidate must be resident in Harare
