- Establishment of a National Road Transport Authority
- Continuation of the implementation of the Road Safety Strategic Plan (NRSS III)
- Acquisition of landed property and documentation for GTTC
- Refurbishment of GTTC classrooms, offices and workshops
- DVLA to procure land in the eastern part of Accra to serve the motoring public in and around Accra, Amasaman, Otinibi
- New purpose built offices will be constructed at Denu, Nkawkaw, Akim-Oda and Obuasi to ensure a better customer-friendly environment
- Operational vehicles would be procured by DVLA for road side checks
- Vehicle registration processes and procedures are undergoing automation to meet international standard
- Assist the Private Transport Operators to acquire new vehicles
