About the Program
The Graduate Certificate of Transformational Leadership (GCTL) is a joint certificate offered by Bakke Graduate University (BGU) and Biblical Graduate School of Theology (BGST). Students will take four courses offered by BGU and BGST faculty. Courses in the certificate are highly practical, equipping students to take the next step in translating their theology into action.
Through this joint certificate, BGST students will become part of the rich global learning community of BGU. Courses will be conducted using live online video, conveniently based in Singapore’s time zone. For those interested in progressing to a Doctorate degree at BGU, the GCTL provides a helpful stepping stone.
Students may take the GCTL at either a Masters or Doctorate level. Credits from the GCTL (Masters) are transferable to both BGU and BGST Master’s degrees. Credits from the GCTL (Doctorate) are transferable to BGU’s Doctorate in Transformational Leadership (DTL) Program. BGU degrees are nationally accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS).

- Masters Level – USD$1500 per course (3 credits)
- Doctorate Level – USD$2100 per course (4 credits)

BGST offers courses in a wide variety of traditional subjects, such as biblical studies, systematic theology, church history, coupled with courses in contemporary topics, like vocation, popular culture and marketplace ministry. We seek to help our fellow Christians both learn about their faith and reflect critically on the pertinent concerns of our times so they understand why the Christian faith matters in their everyday life.
