A BSc Honours Degree in Mathematics with a degree class of 2.1 or better or an equivalent degree.
(ii) Special Entry:
A BSc Honours Degree in Mathematics or an equivalent degree with a degree class of 2.2 may be considered for admission with a minimum of two years of relevant postgraduate work experience, the applicant would be required to write a qualifying examination and pass that examination with a degree class of 2.1 or better.
(i) Normal Entry:
A BSc Honours Degree in Applied Statistics/Statistics with a degree class of 2.1 or better or an equivalent degree.
(ii) Special Entry:
A BSc Honours Degree with a major in Statistics with a 2.1 or better from this University or an equivalent degree will be required to upgrade that degree to a BSc Honours Degree in Statistics. An applicant with a BSc Honours Degree in Applied Statistics/Statistics with a degree class of 2.2 may be considered for admission with a minimum of two years of relevant postgraduate work experience, the applicant would be required to write a qualifying examination and pass that examination with a degree class of 2.1 or better.
(i) Normal Entry:
A BSc Honours Degree in Actuarial Science from this University with a degree class of 2.2 or better or an equivalent degree.
(ii) Special Entry:
A BSc Honours Degree in Actuarial Science with a degree class of 3 of this University or an equivalent degree may be considered if she/he has a minimum of two years of relevant experience, writes a qualifying examination and passes with a grade of 2.2 or better
Normal Entry: BSc Honours Degree in a physical science or an appropriate engineering discipline, or in an agricultural or biological science
Special Entry: BSc Degree with a major in physical science or an appropriate engineering discipline, or in an agricultural or biological science AND at least five years relevant work experience BSc Degree with a major in Physics or Lic. Ed. Physics
BSc general degree with a major in Geology and at least a minor in the second subject. The pass in Geology should be in the lower second division or higher. Possession of postgraduate experience (at least two years) would be an added advantage.
