NUST Faculty Of Medicine 2024/2025 Intake

ADMISSION BY NORMAL ENTRY AND SPECIAL ENTRY INTO THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR. 

Applications are invited from candidates who meet the requirements for entry into:

  • Bachelor of Sciences General Degree in Biomedical Sciences which is a prerequisite for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degrees.
  • Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Nursing Sciences.

Payment Procedures

 Application Fee

a) Zimbabwean Nationals

An application fee of US$20 or the ZWL interbank rate equivalent of the day must be paid during the online application process.

b) International Applicants

The application fee for International Applicants is US$30.

The closing date for applications is 15 September 2023.

Late application

The deadline for late applications is 29 September 2023. 

Zimbabwean National’s late application fee is US$30.

International Applicant’s late application fee is US$40

FACULTYDEGREE PROGRAMMEENTRY REQUIREMENTS
 MedicineBachelor of Sciences General Degree in Biomedical Sciences Programme (3 years) which is a prerequisite for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degrees (3 years)          Normal Entry3 ‘A’ Level passes: Chemistry (mandatory) and any 2 of the following subjects; Biology, Physics and Mathematics (or their approved equivalents). Special Entry Candidates with undergraduate degree passes with a classification of 2.1 or better in programs with substantial cover in the Biological or Chemical Sciences may be considered. Shortlisted applicants may be subjected to interviews before admission into the programme. 
   Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Nursing Sciences (NEW)(4 years)  Entry Requirements 2 ‘A’ Level passes in Science subjects and 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject
