You don’t want to hear an answer where the candidate thinks a police officer job is “cool” or “exciting.” They should give you an honest and well-thought-out answer. The applicant should have a personal history of wanting to help and protect the community. They need to know that police work is more than chasing suspects. Their answer should have a commitment to promoting the image of the department. What to look for in an answer:

- A reflective and personal answer
- Dedication to helping the community

The interview its a written and will be conducted on the July 2021 at 0900 hrs at Mahalapye Prisons staff college. Candidates are advised to bring their Identity cards Omang.

General information salary is about P2700 plus 15% overtime allowance, free housing and electricity. After successful interviews, written and oral and you passed medical exams you undergo 6 months training at the college.
To reach Mahalapye Prisons college, at the bus rank ask the taximan, its free to ask, you only pay the taxi fare, they will take you there either special at P20 or P4.00 each if you are in groups of 4-4s.Alternatively you can catch Flower town Route 1 combi and tell them you are going to Prisons College. If you are driving. Go over the flyover on the new Machaneng road, you’ll be guided by the boards, pass Pekenene cjsschool, pass Prison’s staff houses, and the prisons and you will reach the college.Ga o na go timela.
