MUST Economic Fee Paying Students Application Now Open

MALAWI UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (MUST)
ADMISSION OF ECONOMIC FEE PAYING UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS FOR THE 2016 ACADEMIC YEAR
 
The Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) has limited spaces which it would like to fill by admitting interested Malawians and non-Malawians who are able and willing to pay economic fees in the following programmes:

Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
a)Malawi School Certificate of Education or IGSCE or their equivalent ‘O’ level qualification with (6) credits including English. Applicants must also score credit grades in Mathematics, Physical Science (or Physics and Chemistry) and Biology. Those applying for BSc in Earth Sciences and BSc in Meteorology and Climate Science, BSc in in Disaster Risk Management or BSc in Geo-Information and Earth Observations Sciences they  must have a credit in Geography as well.
OR
b)A-Level with a three subject combination of any of the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology or Geography with a minimum grade of ‘C’ in each of any of the three subjects.
Tuition fees payable are as follows:

1. Malawian students K1,800,000:00 per academic year;
2. Foreign students from SADC countries US$2,500 per academic year;
3. All other foreign students US$3,000 per academic year.

Other Costs for Undergraduates
Residence Fees: K150,000 or (US$215) per year
Medical insurance: K120,000 or US$200
Living expenses approximately K400,000 or ( US$600) per year
Applications for all programmes should include:

1. A completed undergraduate application which can either be collected in person from MUST Registry Office or on written request or can be down loaded from the following website: must.ac.mw
2. Authenticated copies of academic certificates or notification of results.
3. An original bank deposit slip of a non-refundable application fee of K5,000 for Malawians and $100 for all non-Malawians. Payment of application fee should be made into the bank account provided below:
