MAGU invites applications from qualified persons to apply for programs within the specified fields listed below. MAGU is a reputable university registered, recognized and approved by the Malawi Government through the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). Opening Date is 15 AUGUST 2016

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:
MSCE or its equivalent, with at least 6 credits including English.
MATURE ENTRY:  Diploma from any reputable collage  plus 4 credits on M.SC.E  with English inclusive
FACULTY OF EDUCATION–(4years)
PROGRAMS

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Development(3 years)
  • BEd. Social Studies (with English as minor)
  • BEd. English(with Social studies as minor)
  • BEd. ICT (with Mathematics as minor)
  • BEd .Mathematics (with ICT as minor)
  • BEd .Religious Education (with Social studies or history as minor)

BEd. History (with Religious education or social studies as minor)ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:
 
MSCE or its equivalent, with at least 6 credits including English.
For Mature Entry, the following are required

  1. Malawi School Certificate of Education or its O-level equivalent with at least four (4) credits including English, plus at least two (2) years teaching experience; or
  2. A university diploma from any accredited programs, plus a minimum of two (2) post diploma teaching experience.

UNIVERSITY CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION (UCE)

The University Certificate of Education (UCE) is offered to individualswho have a non-educational Diploma or Degree in fields that are related to subjects in the secondary school curricula. The program is offered on residential and distance learning modes.

The Faculty of Theology which emphasizes Pentecostal Theology and Practices invites interested candidates, pastors from various networks and denominations to apply for any of the listed programs. Several scholarships are available upon being admitted.PROGRAMS

One of the programs at the C4I is the Diploma in Web App Development.
