Apply to Baldwin

Applicants can apply to Baldwin University College by purchasing an Application Voucher Code for GHS 101.00. After purchasing the Voucher Code, the applicant will use that code to access and fill the application form online.

Applicants who are applying from outside Ghana should send an email to enquiries@baldwin.edu.gh for directions to purchasing the Voucher Code.

Steps in purchasing Application Voucher Code

  • Applicant will be required to provide his/her name, valid email address and phone number.
  • Applicant will then be redirected to the payment page where payment for the Voucher Code can be made via Mobile Money, Debit or Credit Cards.
  • Once payment is successful, applicant will be sent the Application Voucher Code by text message and email in order to begin the application process.

General Entry Requirements

SSSCE Applicants
Must have passes in Core English, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus any three (3) elective passes.

WASSCE Applicants
Must have Credit passes in Core English, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus any three (3) elective credit passes.

Department of Health & Allied Sciences

Prospective students who would want admission into the Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Medical Laboratory Science, Diploma (Dip.) in Medical Laboratory Science or Higher National Diploma (HND) Dispensing Technology must have the following in addition to the General Entry Requirements:SSSCE, WASSCE or Equivalent

Prospective students for this programme must possess a minimum of 3 credits in the Core subjects plus 3 Credits Electives in, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics or Physics at not more than two sittings.
Mature Applicants

  • Must be at least twenty-five (25) years old.
  • Must be a holder of Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technician or have credits in three (3) Core subjects (English, Mathematics, and Integrated Science) and three (3) Elective subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics) in SSSCE, WASSCE or Equivalent.
  • Must have at least two years working experience in a Medical Laboratory and must pass an Entrance Examination.

Department of Information Technology

Prospective students who would want admission into the Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Information Technology must have the following:SSSCE, WASSCE or Equivalent

Prospective students for this programme must have passes in Core English, Core mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus any three (3) elective passes.
GCE ‘O’ Level Applicants

Applicants must have credit in English Language and Mathematics.Mature Applicants

  • Must be at least twenty-five (25) years old at the time of applying.
  • Must be a holder of Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technician or have credits in three (3) Core subjects (English, Mathematics, and Integrated Science) and three (3) Elective subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics) in SSSCE, WASSCE or Equivalent.
  • Must have at least three (3) SSSCE/WASSCE/GBCE passes or three GCE “O’ level passes including English and Mathematics.
  • Must have three (3) years working experience
  • Must pass an entrance examination and an interview

HND Applicants

  • Must have a minimum of second Class (Lower Division) in Information Technology or its equivalent from an accredited Institution.
  • Applicants will be considered for admission at level 200.
  • Holders of other HND in other fields of study would be considered for Level 100.

Professional Applicants

  • Holders of Professional certificates in Information Technology and related professional fields such as City & Guilds, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCSE etc. will be considered for Level 100.
  • Applicants in this category must
    1. have five (5) credit passes in SSCE/WASSCE including Mathematics, English Language and Integrated Science.
    2. pass a selection interview.

International Applicants

  • WASSCE/SSSCE applicants from West African sub-region must have at least Six (6) credits (A1-C6 in WASSCE and A-D in SSSCE) including English, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science.
  • IGCSE/GCE (Cambridge) – ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels Applicants must have at least Five (5) passes including English and Mathematics in the IGCSE/IB/Cambridge ‘O’ Level and three relevant subjects at the ‘A’ Levels.

Transfer Applicants

  • Students can only transfer from the same Information Technology Programme from either Public or Private University.
  • Applicant must satisfy the core courses requirements and performance requirements.
  • Applicant must also demonstrate a 2.0 cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA).

Department of Business Studies
